GROUP CLASSES

Group training is a must and we at Lifeline strive to safely accommodate this essential training. Team rescue scenarios are practiced by two individuals while other students stand by and observe. It is important to both participate in the rescue scenarios and observe from a standby perspective so as to learn proper techniques and safety.

Lifeline CPR adheres to the strict guidelines of the American Heart Association
student-to-manikin ratio which is 3/1. For this reason, we have purchased the necessary
equipment to accommodate large groups of students at a time. If additional instructors are
needed we have access to other individuals who are certified by the AHA to assist us with group training. In the past, we have taught large groups as many as 40 at a time at schools, universities, churches, and companies where we come to you for this training.

COVID-19 AWARENESS

During these difficult times Lifeline CPR has gone above and beyond to keep our students safe from Covid-19 while at the same time providing training and certifications to our future and current healthcare workers. We have spared no cost in acquiring spacious conference room, church auditoriums and doctor’s offices in which to meet rather than small rooms where everyone is bunched together.

Additionally we screen all participants by asking them the same questions they would be asked if entering a hospital. We check their temperatures with no-contact thermometers and oxygen level’s which might indicate a respiratory issue. All participants are required to sanitize their hand upon entering the classroom and wear gloves and mask which we supply.

Our students can feel safe from Covid-19 while gaining the lifesaving skill required of them moving forward with their careers.

HANDS ON TRAINING

Lifeline CPR adheres to the cognitive and skills evaluations in accordance with the curriculum of the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) Programs which include hands-on training. In particular, we focus on “Team Rescue Scenarios” where students will pair together and practice real-life emergency responses as they relate to heart attacks.

NOTE: During the Covid-19 pandemic Team Rescue Scenarios may be performed by the instructor and his/her assistant for the safety and protection of our students.

ABOUT

We at Lifeline CPR are 100% committed to saving lives. It’s as simple as that. Every person who attends our class has the potential to save a life one day based on the skills they’ve learned from us. The victim may be a stranger or your own family member, which does not matter. A life is a life. Our training is in accordance with the curriculum set forth by the American Heart Association Basic Life Support program and all students will successfully complete the
cognitive and skills evaluations of this curriculum.

As owner and director of Lifeline CPR I can attest that I have witnessed at least one person brought back to life using the skills of Basic and Advanced Life Support. There is no greater experience than to see professionals working together to save a life and when it happens your emotions will be overwhelmed with joy and triumph, as were mine.
